Last year I was thrilled to have my vocals included on one of Philipp Bückle’s songs. Philipp is a German musician/film maker and recently played at the 2018 Le Guess Who Festival. His expansive musical style encompasses soundscapes, textures, krautrock, experimental music, field recordings, drones, indie-pop, folk, noise, and electronica. His discography includes releases on the labels Morr Music, Eglantine Records, Moving Furniture Records, Awkward Formats, and Emotional Response.

In 2018, Philipp released a gorgeous album called “Paintings” on the Amsterdam-based electronic experimental label Moving Furniture Records. My vocals appear on the track “Figures On A Road Through The Woods”. I always find it interesting how other artists treat my voice. This is something I find fascinating about working with others. I love the artwork for this release (below).

Bückle / Vogt collaboration

Philipp and I have also been collaborating (I love that word!) and we have made an EP together. Entitled “Before We Rise,” our EP contains five songs in a style that could be described as indietronica with pop elements. I’m really looking forward to sharing it with everyone in late February.
